I mainly print in abs, nylon and petg,
the satin side works great for both the abs and petg, the cfx side initially gave me some trouble with nylon, but after scuffing the surface a bit with 600 grit sandpaper, the nylon sticks a little too well! Incredible, I didn't think that would be possible!
I am super satisfied with this, and I hope it lasts me a long time.
Hoping these stay in production, Perfect for holding even temp across the build plate. The CF layer facing down holds the heat nice and even across the Satin sheet facing the print. Fixed all my warping and adhesion issues with ABS and ASA
You can print about anything without glue!!
Between the satin and CFX surfaces on this plate, you can easily print almost any available filament without an adhesion promoter. This is my second CFX plate, but I was equally as impressed with the satin side upon arrival. Highly recommended if you print a lot of nylon! The satin side is also great for nylon and the best I've used for various PLA formulations.
This the most premium plate I've owned and you can feel it. The carbon fibre texture is incredible and as advertised sticks well and then released with a nice subtle pattern on a smooth base.
As for the satin side it also feels amazing and the best part is I get to have two beds in one!
