Excellent adhesion and smooth result

Recommended Temperatures

The G10 Hobby build plate includes the ArUco code for the Bambu Lab High Temp Plate, which is a good starting point for temperatures to use. However, TPU should be printed at ambient (unheated) temperatures.

Here are the suggested printing temperatures for G10 Hobby plate, which may require some experimentation depending on the specific environment of the printer.

Material types not listed here are not generally recommended.

PLA

50-60°C

PETG

65-75°C

TPU

Ambient temperature

ABS/ASA

100-110°C

The best smooth plate I’ve used

I was happy to get the notification that the G10 Hobby had come back in stock. My Bambu smooth plate took a bit of damage, so this was a welcome addition to the plate family. PLA sticks like crazy, releases easily once cooled as well. I’ve printed 2 TPU prints on it at ambient temp (set Bambu studio to run the plate at 1C so it doesn’t heat anything) and it’s worked beautifully. I will confess that one of the prints had a larger surface area and was a bit difficult to remove, but I succeeded without destroying the print or plate. This is head and shoulders above the Bambu smooth plate. In the pic, you’ll see a 230x230 print of Citizens Bank Park in Philly (Model by Micropolitan over on Thangs). Despite the large area, not even a hint of warping. Love this plate.

the build plate I didn't know I needed

Handles pla and petg like a champ with excellent surface finish. Finger oils show up very clearly which makes it easy to know when to clean.

Good upgrade

For a similar cost to the bambu lab smooth plate (pre shipping), it's simply better

Super smooth

Great adhesion when hot, pops off easily when cold. Similar to the Bambu PEI plate but with a smooth finish. When I care about the bottom of a print I use this, otherwise the ICE plate. My PEI plate has been shelved.
