One of the best features of the Satin Plate is the bottom surface finish, which comes out very matte (I guess you could say... satin!) with much smaller tolerances in the ridges of the standard textured PEI plates.

This review is more about the customer service than the product itself.

The Satin plate is incredible…smooth prints, great adhesion, but what truly impressed me was the service.

I reached out to Darkmoon about my ICE plate, which seemed to be part of a defective batch. I wasn’t upset, it happens.

But what stood out was that they immediately offered to send me a free replacement Satin plate, no questions asked. No runaround, no hoops to jump through, just genuine, proactive support.

That level of care is rare, and it shows they stand behind their products. Huge respect to the Darkmoon team. I’m a customer for life!

Best of the Best. Period

I have every plate made by Dark moon and they are hands down the best. I love my satin plates the most because they are almost maintenance free and they just work. They leave a smooth texture that blends the layers to give them a premium finish I just dont get with anyone else. Darkmoon for ever. BTW just grab the H2D one and that one is right on par with the X1C plates. Amazing. Buy it and dont look back.

I use this with PA-CF and it makes my prints so crispy. Combined with a diamondback nozzle (which has a smooth face) the top and the bottom of the part come out equally smooth, which takes a lot of post-processing time out of the equation. I use this for my business so that saved time is money. Also I got a hand written thank you card so 5/5 on this one.
