The Darkmoon CFX Carbon Fiber Build Plate is the flagship build plate from Darkmoon 3D. With the ability to print a wide variety of filament types without the use of glue, especially nylons (PA/PPA/PAHT) and cutting edge filaments like PPS, it is the most versatile and high quality build plate available for Bambu Lab printers.

This is NOT an "effects" sheet like you might see sold on AliExpress! The CFX Build Plate is made with REAL woven carbon fiber sheets and coated with a specialized high temperature resin formula. The carbon fiber gives the build plate incredible durability and strength to resist warping while also dispersing heat across the build plate evenly. The clear high temperature resin coating grips filaments tight when hot and releases prints quickly after the heat-bed is turned off, usually resulting in an audible "POP!" as it separates from the build plate, unaided.

The REAL Carbon Fiber sheet is affixed with high temperature adhesive to a black oxide coated spring steel sheet that has a stronger magnetic grip than standard build plates with precision manufactured flatness. The carbon fiber sheet leaves behind a subtle imprint of the woven fabric across the bottom surface of your prints.

Print with PLA, PETG, TPU, ABS, ASA as well as high end engineering filaments like PC, Nylon, PPS, and more can be printed with ease. PP and PP-CF can also be printed when using polypropylene adhesion promoters like Magigoo PP.

Size: 256mm (X1/P1/A1)

Extreme Adhesion

Engineering filaments just became as easy as PLA.

Easy Release

Prints audible "POP!" off the build plate after cooling.

Engineer Ready

Compatible with Nylon, PC, Composites, and Abrasives.

Evenly Heated

Carbon fiber holds the heat evenly, meaning no cold spots.

Carbon Fiber Texture

Leaves behind a subtle imprint of the carbon fiber weave.

Printing Considerations

This gives a good starting point for printing various materials. Take note that some materials may require preheating the CFX build plate. This is because carbon fiber is a terrific insulator, and may need extra time to reach its final bed temperature.

These guidelines will vary greatly between filament manufacturers and printing environments. You may need to test different preheat times and temperatures, but this list is a great starting point 95% of the time.

Nice build plate great adhesion

Used it with fibrex filament notorious for bad adhesion and insane warping. This build plate handled it like a champion with no glue. Look at the fibrex on the Bambu hi temp plate with glue picture . The fibrex is bending the build plate. This carbon fiber plate didn’t pull up at all. It also worked great with PLA.

Excellent for TPU!

This is 1 of 2 beds I could find that actually releases TPU cleanly without an adhesion agent! Extremely Pleased. Will be back for more.

Waiting to try it.

Have not had the time to use the CFX plate yet. Will be using it exclusively for ASA. And TPU prints. All I’ve seen so far though is great.
Looking forward to getting other Darkmoon plates. The G10 and LUX plates are calling.

Great High Quality Build Plate

I purchased this build plate specifically to run production with PA-CF material and the build plate did not disappoint and was exactly what I was looking for.
