Amazing adhesion and surface results

I never thought I would love a build plate like I love this build plate. I might even love it more than my A1 itself! I am notorious for ruining build plates…..even when I follow the directions to a T. Prints always leave shadows on the plate, usually from the 1st print, and forever more faintly transferred to the surface of every print after that. Not so with this one! Learned about Darkmoon on Reddit. Have printed almost daily (PLA & PETG) and prints release effortlessly. The plate looks exactly the same as the day I opened the package brand new….not even a hint of surface shadow from a previous print. I also have the G10 hobby plate… but am so happy with this one….I actually forgot about it! Just ordered a 2nd Satin so I can quickly start a new print while the first plate cools. Threw caution to the wind & just ordered Lux and CFX Carbon Fiber plates too.
The only thing Darkmoon could do to make me a happier customer? Make Satin build plates for Prusa printers as well!
Thank you!

Honestly, I had only heard about this on Reddit. I saw the surface and decided to chance it. Its amazing. I haven't used a different plate since I got it. Adhesion is fantastic with PLA and PETG. I am looking forward to trying out the LUX and or the carbon fiber as my next plates.

I have tried many different build playes to find something as easy as PEI but with a satin or matte finish. I had given up. But then I found this. Its perfect. I love it. I am buying another one for my second printer right now.

Love it. If you print with any silk and you’re tired of the residue, pick one of these up. Don’t even second guess yourself, get it. It’s not super smooth and not textured but a perfect balance in between. 0 issues with adhesion. Perfect 10/10.

Smooth as Silk... Uh, Satin!

This plate is so much better than other brands out there. Only tested with PLA and ABS so fare, but it grips everything I threw at it, and immediately lets go after cooling. Amazing craftsmanship.
