Darkmoon Satin Build Plate for Bambu Lab Printers

I use this with PA-CF and it makes my prints so crispy. Combined with a diamondback nozzle (which has a smooth face) the top and the bottom of the part come out equally smooth, which takes a lot of post-processing time out of the equation. I use this for my business so that saved time is money. Also I got a hand written thank you card so 5/5 on this one.

The Satin plate cured my PA-6 blues! Finally a solution for nylon warping problems. Customer Service was instrumental in helping me solve my printing issues. I’m looking forward to seeing what other solutions Darkmoon has to offer. A+ Happy Customer.

I'm mainly printing PETG and the plate is doing amazing work.
Absolutely zero glue or other release agent required.

I used to struggle with PETG sticking too well to build plates and causing white stress marks when taken off even on a completely cool plate.

With this Satin plate, once completely cool the gentlest nudge would release the print without any stress mark at all!
Printing tall and 1mm thin objects were also no problem at all, bed adhesion is crazy solid at high temp.

This is the plate I'll be bulk buying as my print farm grows!

I have used this for 50+ prints since buying two of them (one in reserve). There are several advantages for me over the rough textured PEI plate that comes with the Bambu A1 that I use it on. First, the bottom layer finish blends in almost seamlessly with the luster finish of the PLA and PETG filaments I use from Voxel, 3DFuel, and QIDI (PETG). For most of my prints, I much prefer this. Second, The PLA I use stick to it better than the more rough PEI surface. I keep the plate very clean by cleaning the surface with a little Dawn Dishwashing soap and a soft bristle brush. Nothing more is needed. For fast PETG printing, I do use Magigoo "just to be sure", but for larger prints, it isnt necessary, only printing smaller parts. The print is slightly thicker guage metal than the stock bed (a good thing) and seems to heat very evenly and magnetically sticks great. The print still looks nearly new and adheres as well as the day I received it. This is my default plate at this point. I really like it. Great product.
